PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSES
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Faulty controller.
If switch and switch circuit is ok –
possibility of all bulbs burned out,
broken, or bad controller.
Remove left front turn signal bulb and
check for pulsing 12 volts at bulb
socket.
Voltage present, check bulbs.
No voltage present – check continuity of
wires to small controller twist lock
connector.
Green wire at bulb socket to pin 8.
Black wire at bulb socket to pin 4.
If no continuity – check wires to other
lights and repair as needed.
If continuity on both wires – replace
controller.
No brake lights (tail
lights ok).
Burned out bulbs.
Brake pedal switch inoperative.
Faulty wire or connector.
Faulty controller.
Replace bulbs and check.
Check brake pedal switch (refer to
Section 5). Replace if necessary.
Disconnect tail/brake light harness from
main harness on one side. Turn switch
to an on position and check voltage
between the blue wire and the green
wire that is in the same row with the
blue wire, while depressing brake pedal.
Should be 12 volts
If voltage present, check tail/brake light
harness and bulbs. Repair as needed.
If no voltage present check continuity of
wires.
Tail/Brake Light Small Twist Lock
Plug Controller Plug
Blue wire to Pin 6
Green wire to Pin 5
If no continuity, repair or replace wire
harness as needed.
If continuity is ok, replace controller.
Directional lights not
working front or rear,
Faulty switch.
Test switch (refer to section 5).
Replace if necessary.
