FAULT INDICATION SYSTEM
The controller on the FunRunner is equipped with
onboard diagnostic help. The fault, battery, charge, and
temperature LED indicators on the instrument cluster as
well as an audible beep from the controller are used to
indicate various faults. See Figure 6-1.
Observing the lights to see if they stay on, flash
constantly, or have a repeated number of pulses while
listening to the number of audible pulses will alert you to
a fault indication. Use the Fault Indication Table to find
the cause and action to take.
Whenever the FunRunner is not operating normally,
check for a fault indication first before beginning any
other testing or repair.
