LCD Display Module for SAE-1000/1100 Detectors

Mounting
The IEI-1000 LCD display module can be field-
installed in the SAE-1000 series CO
2
and SAE-1100
series CO detectors. The module is required for
configuration (changing from the default settings) of
these detectors. (The SAE-1002 already comes with the
LCD display module installed.) The module can even
be transferred from one detector to another.
To install the module:
1. Disconnect power and remove the cover from the
desired SAE-1000/1100 series detector.
2. Orient the module (with the connector at the top)
according to the appropriate illustration below.
3. Ensure that all 14 pins on the detector’s board are
lined up correctly and push them into the LCD
module’s connector.
4. After reconnecting power and using the display,
reinstall the detector’s cover. (Disconnect power
again if transferring the module to another
sensor.)
CAUTION
Disconnect power before installing or removing the
display module. The module must be installed correctly or
damage may result to the detector and/or the module.
