Adjusting the
recording level
You can adjust the recording level when the
recorded sound is too soft or too strong. You
can adjust and save the recording level for
each recording source (function).

Turn the jog dial to adjust the
recording level.
The recording level can be adjusted from
-12 to +12. Adjust the recording level so
as not to light up "OVER" in the display
at the strongest sound.

Press MENU/NO.
The adjustment is completed. Start
recording if the recording is paused.
Tip
The recording level can be adjusted for each
function, and the adjusted level is saved for each
function.
Note
If the recording level is adjusted during recording,
the newly recorded sound differs in quality from the
previously recorded sound.

While recording or in record pause,
press MENU/NO twice.
"Setup Menu" appears.
Turn the jog dial until
"LevelAdjust" appears, then press
ENTER/YES.
The recording source and the recording
level appears.
