Labelling a CD
- Disc Memo Function

Press NAME EDIT/CHAR.
The cursor starts flashing.
You can label up to 50 CDs with titles of up to
20 symbols and characters. Whenever you
load a labeled CD, the title (disc name)
appears in the display.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
"CD" appears.
To label a disc, press ■ to stop
playing a disc. When "SHUFFLE" or
"PROGRAM" appears in the
display, press PLAY MODE
repeatedly until it disappears.

Press DISC SKIP / EX-CHANGE
repeatedly to select the desired CD.
Press NAME EDIT/CHAR
repeatedly until the type of
character you want appears.
Each time you press the button, the
display changes as follows;
A (Upper case) —*■ a (Lower case)
—► 0 (Numbers) —► ! (Symbols)*
—> Lj (Space)**—* A . . .
* You can use the following symbols.
!"#$%&'()*-i-,-. / ;;<=>?©_'
** To enter a space
Go to step 7.
You cannot label the blank space
from the first letter.

Turn jog dial until the character you
want appears.

Press
The cdrsor shifts rightward and waits for
the input of the next character.

Repeat steps 5 to 7 to complete the
entire title.
if you made a mistake
Press or ►► until the character you
want change flashes, then repeat steps 4
to 6.
To erase the character
Press CLEAR while the character is
flashing
9 Press ENTER/YES to complete the
labelling procedure
