Purpose:
To specify whether or not to lock Admin Menu with a password, and to set or change the password.
Values:
Function Enabled
Purpose:
To specify whether to enable or disable each of the printer services, or to require a password to use the services.
Values:
Secure Receive
Purpose:
To specify whether or not to require a password to receive faxes, and to set or change the password.
Values:
Admin Reports
Use the Admin Reports menu to print various types of Admin Menu reports and lists.
Speed Dial
Purpose:
To print the Speed Dial report.
Address Book
Purpose:
To print the Address Book report.
Panel Lock Set
Disable* Does not lock Admin Menu with a password.
Enable Locks Admin Menu with a password.
Change Password
0000*
Sets or changes the password required to access Admin Menu.
0000-9999
NOTE: Before enabling Function Enabled, ensure that Panel Lock is enabled.
Copy
On Enables the Copy service.
On (Password) Enables the Copy service, but requires a password to use the service.
Off Disables the Copy service.
Scan
On Enables the Scan service.
On (Password) Enables the Scan service, but requires a password to use the service.
Off Disables the Scan service.
Fax
On Enables the Fax service.
On (Password) Enables the Fax services, but requires a password to send faxes (does not require a password to receive incoming faxes).
Off Disables the Fax service (the printer will not send or receive faxes).
NOTE: Before enabling Secure Receive, ensure that Panel Lock Set is enabled.
Secure Receive Set
Disable* Does not require a password to receive faxes.
Enable Requires a password to receive faxes.
Change Password
