ELECTRICAL TESTS AND ADJUSTMENTS
TRANSMISSION NEUTRAL SWITCH
STX30 & STX38 ( —210000)
Reason:
To make sure tractor cannot be started while in gear.
Procedure:
1. Remove spark plug wire and raise rear tire.
2. Attempt to start engine while moving gear shift lever
towards reverse or forward gear. If wheels rotate
during cranking, readjust neutral switch by turning
switch out slightly.
3. Connect spark plug wire.
