8.7.2 Diagnostics
The Sierra server allows you to run diagnostics on the DataTran Credit Modem (for customers with credit
modems).

Enter “0” in the command line for a list of commands to run the diagnostics. The DataTran and IPTran
modems will have different lists of diagnostics because the devices are different. Most commands will
respond within a few seconds. The list of diagnostics is as follows:
1-DTran/IPTran Versions (Both Devices)
2-Dial Tone Test (DataTran Only)
3-Card Settings (DataTran Only)
4-Credit Mid Settings
10-IP Address (IPTran Only)
11-DNS Test (IPTran Only)
12-Credit Gateway (IPTran Only)
13-Gift Gateway
14-Check Gateway
15-Param Load
