Chapter 3 Component Replacement Procedures
Converter Snubber
Resistors - AC Input Only

to locate the component detailed in these
instructions.
Remove Components
Kit includes Snubber Board and Resistor.
1.
Read and follow the
Safety Precautions on page 8
and
Important Initial
Steps on page 10
.
2.
Perform
Remove Main Control Panel on page 22
.
3.
Perform
Remove Stacking Panel on page 25
.
4.
Locate the Snubber Resistor(s) to be replaced.
5.
Verify the Snubber Resistor(s) with a volt ohm meter. The reading should
be 8 ohms ± 10%.
• If the reading is not within tolerance, perform the remainder of this
procedure.
• If the reading is within tolerance, do not perform the remainder of this
procedure.
6.
For the R Snubber Resistor only: Perform
Remove Transitional Busbar on
page 28
.
7.
Label and disconnect the wires from Snubber Resistor(s) that will be
replaced.
8.
Remove the resistor(s) and properly discard.
