Basic Component Removal Procedures Chapter 2

Remove all IGBT Snubber components:
a. Remove the six nuts that secure each set of Snubber Capacitors.
Remove the capacitors, and save nuts and capacitors.
b. Remove the two screws that secure each Tie Down Capacitor Mount.
Remove the Tie Down Capacitor Mounts and save screws and
Capacitor Mounts.
c. Remove the six setscrews from each IGBT and save.
d. If replacing an IGBT module, remove the nuts and DC- Flexible
Capacitor Busbars, and save nuts and busbars.
IMPORTANT
The positive (DC+) Flexible Capacitor Busbars are connected to the
back side of the Transitional Busbar. The Transitional Busbar must be
removed before they can be accessed and removed.
