Install in a 19” Equipment Rack
Rack mounting brackets are installed on the ERn unit when shipped from the factory. Also
included, but not attached to the unit at shipment, is a flush mounted, locking door. The door
provides visibility and access openings for the Paradigm architectural control processor (P-
ACP) user interface and the related status indicators. Additional access openings are
provided for visibility of status indicators on the Paradigm station power modules (P-SPM)
and Paradigm station repeater modules (P-REP or P-DREP).
Step 1:
Secure the ERn enclosure to the 19” equipment rack using the hardware
provided. The ERn2 requires 5U of rack space and the ERn4 requires 9U of rack
space.
Step 2:
Attach the door to the mounting brackets using the hardware provided.
N o t e :
Complete the entire installation before attaching the flush mounted locking door.

W A R N I N G :
All terminations must be done with the power off. Enclosures installed
without an accessible power disconnect device cannot be serviced or
operated safely. Follow all local codes and restrictions.
When the disconnect device is not located near the installed enclosure, the
disconnect must allow for proper Lockout/Tagout.
