Rack Mounting Specifications
An ERn configured for installation in a 19” equipment rack requires 5U of rack space for an
ERn2 and 9U of rack space for an ERn4. ERn enclosures are provided with rack mounting
brackets attached to the ERn enclosure at shipment. The locking door attaches to the
equipment rack for a secure installation.

Installation Environment Requirements
• For your safety, you should install a circuit breaker cabinet or other readily accessible
input power disconnect device in the same area as the Unison ERn enclosure.
Breakers not in the same room must have a physical means to be locked off.
• A clean (not dusty), temperature controlled environment with the following conditions:
• ambient temperature of 32-104°F / 0-40°C
• ambient humidity of 10-90%, non-condensing
• Restricted public access to prevent tampering.
• All CE equipment is tested to EMC category B environment.
