noTe
never use silicone grease with the nTMoS
sensor.
noTe
A junction box spacer or standoff may be used to
increase the distance between the device and the
mounting surface, thereby facilitating installation
and use of the ampoule calibrator.
noTe
For non-HART applications, the nTMoS
sensor can be wired to the Sensor Connector
terminals (J3) on the UD10-DCU module. If
HART communication will be used, the nTMoS
sensor must be wired to the optional nTMoS
Connector Board, located on the inside bottom of
the UD10-DCU housing. Refer to the appropriate
wiring diagram.
Proper Termination of Orange and grey wires
The orange and grey wires on the NTMOS detector are
for factory use only. Proper field termination of these
wires can be accomplished in any of the following ways:
– If codes allow, they can be taped off and left
unconnected.
– Connect both wires to the “Shield” terminal (J4-1).
– Connect both wires to Power Supply Minus (24 Vdc –).
– Connect to unused terminals in the STB Sensor
Termination Box.
