Protecting the PowerBook Duo system
from theft
The Duo Dock, Duo MiniDock, and Duo Floppy Adapter all have a
security slot to which you can connect a locking device and
security cable.
If you attach the cable to the Duo Floppy Adapter, for example,
and then connect the adapter to your computer, the adapter and
computer are both protected because the floppy adapter cannot
be removed from the computer until the security cable is
detached.

Service and support
If the PowerBook malfunctions or is damaged
If your computer is malfunctioning but does not appear to be
physically damaged, shut it down (and leave the power adapter
plugged in, if possible) until you can get help.
If you know or suspect that your computer is physically damaged,
disconnect the power adapter, remove the battery, and do not use
the computer until it can be repaired.
