Connecting a Port Replicator

Be sure to slide the tab (1) to the end. If not, the connector (2) is not locked in the correct position, resulting in a contact failure between your computer
and the port replicator.
When the extended battery pack is not attached to your computer, slide the tab (1) in the opposite direction of the arrow to lower the connector (2).
Attaching the computer while the connector (2) is in the lifted position may damage the connectors.
6 Gently push down the computer until it clicks into place.
7 Lift open the LCD screen lid and turn on the computer.
