Cuidados de la pila
• Extraiga el paquete de pilas de la videocámara
después de utilizarlo y manténgalo en un lugar
fresco.
Si el paquete de pilas se encuentra fijado a la
videocámara, una pequeña cantidad de
corriente fluye hacia ésta incluso si el
interruptor POWER está ajustado en la
posición OFF, produciendo una disminución
de la duración de la pila.
• El paquete de pilas siempre se descarga
incluso si no se utiliza después de la carga.
Por lo tanto, la pila debe cargarse
inmediatamente antes de emplear la
videocámara.
Interruptor del paquete de pilas
La función de este interruptor es recordar el
estado de carga de la pila. Ajústelo en la posición
de la “marca verde “ después de la carga.
(Cuando no está fijado al adaptador de carga, el
interruptor muestra la marca verde. Cuando no
está fijado a la videocámara, no aparece ninguna

Duración del paquete de pilas
Si el indicador i parpadea con rapidez
inmediatamente después de activar la
videocámara provista de un paquete de pilas
completamente cargado, éste debe sustituirse por
otro recién cargado.
Temperatura de carga
Las pilas deben cargarse a temperaturas
comprendidas entre 10°C y 30°C (entre 50°F y
86°F). Las temperaturas inferiores requieren un
tiempo de carga superior.

Pilas nuevas
Los paquetes de pilas nuevos no están cargados,
por lo que deben cargarse completamente antes
de utilizarse.
Battery Care
• Remove the battery pack from the camcorder
after using the battery pack, and keep it in a
cool place.
When the battery pack is attached to the
camcorder, a small amount of current flows to
the camcorder even if the POWER switch is set
to OFF, which shortens battery life.
• The battery pack is always discharging even
when it is not in use after charging. Therefore,
you should charge the battery right before
using the camcorder.
The Switch on the Battery Pack
This switch is provided to help you remember
the charging status of the battery. Set the switch
to the “green mark” position after charging.
(When detached from the Charge adaptor, the
switch exposes the green mark. When detached
from your camcorder, no mark is indicated.) [c]
The Life of the Battery Pack
If the i indicator flashes rapidly just after
turning on the camcordrer with a fully charged
battery pack, the battery pack should be replaced
with a new fully charged one.
Charging Temperature
You should charge batteries at temperatures
from 10°C to 30°C (from 50°F to 86°F). Lower
temperatures require a longer charging time.

A Brand-new Battery
A brand-new battery pack is not charged. Before
using the battery pack, charge it completely.
