Ingress Rate

Limiting

The Ingress Rate Limiting feature restricts the traffic to a pre-configured
data rate that can flow into a port. This data rate limit can be configured in
64 Kbps increments within a range from 64 Kbps to 100 Mbps for the 10/
100Base-T ports and 64 Kbps to 1 Gbps for the 1 GB combo ports. The
formula for calculating the bandwidth limit is as follows:

Bandwidth = 64Kbps x rate limit

For the AT-FS750/24POE, the rate limit parameter is an integer
ranging from 1 to 1562 for ports 1 - 24 and 1 to 15625 for ports 25 and
26.

For the AT-FS750/48, the rate limit parameter is an integer ranging
from 1 to 1562 ports 1 - 48 and 1 to 15625 for ports 49 and 50.

Egress Rate

Limiting

The Egress Rate Limiting feature restricts the traffic to a pre-configured
data rate that can flow out of a port. This data rate limit can be configured
in 64 Kbps increments within a range from 64 Kbps to 100 Mbps for the

10/100Base-T ports and 1850 Kbps to .999 Gbps for the 1 GB combo
ports. The formula for calculating the bandwidth limit for the 10/100Base-T
ports is as follows:

Bandwidth = 64Kbps x rate limit

The rate limit parameter is an integer ranging from 1 to 1562 for

ports 1 - 24 (AT-FS750/24POE switch) or ports 1 - 48 (AT-FS750/48
switch).

The formula for calculating the bandwidth limit for the 1 GB combo ports is
as follows:

Bandwidth = 1850Kbps x rate limit

The rate limit parameter is an integer ranging from 1 to 540 for

ports 25 and 26 (AT-FS750/24POE switch) or ports 1 - 48

(AT-FS750/48 switch).
