Seventh release of this manual to support release 2.4.
Changes include:
■ Add support for Oracle database
■ Add statlink tables and add support for link performance reports.
■ For statport, statvlun, statld and statpd add IO Size histogram and
busy time data and increment the table version numbers. Added
corresponding reports to the web and Excel clients.
■ Space and performance report menus are now separated into 4
separate fieldsets (Report Selection, Time Selection, Object Selection
and Format Selection) to make them easier to understand.
■ All reports now include a link to download the data for that report
in CSV (comma separated value) format suitable for import into
spreadsheets.
■ The Summary report now includes the OS revision.
■ The VV space report menu now includes selection for hosts so that
we can limit the report to VVs exported to a given host.
■ Add support for TiB (2^40 bytes) and TB (10^12 bytes) space units in
the web client.
■ The time format choices for the web client have been enhanced and
defaults to “auto” where the format is determined by the
resolution. The date format is now like 2007-08-29 instead of 2007/
08/29.
■ For port, VLUN, LD and PD “versus time” performance “compare”
report types, when the number of objects to compare exceeds the
color limit (16) we now provide a way to automatically select 16
objects that have the highest peak of a specified metric.
