7.11 Configuring Rules for Email Alerts

The 3PAR System Reporter Policies window appears.
3 Choose the Alert Rules tab.
4 Click Remove Alert.
5 Select the alert rule to remove from the drop-down list.
6 Click Submit Query.
7 An alert window appears confirming that the alert rule was removed.
8 Click OK to return to the Sampling Policies window.
7.4.4 Alert Rule Parameters
Alert rules are specified using parameters described in the following sections.
7.4.4.1 Data Table
The data table on which the rule operates. The currently supported data tables are described
in Table 7-2 .

statport Port performance table.
statport_nodesum Represents the sum of all the ports on a node. This allows
you to generate alerts when nearing the limits of IOPs/s
and bandwidth of a node.
statport_syssum Represents the sum of all the ports on a InServ system. This
allows you to generate alerts when nearing the limits of
IOPs/s and bandwidth of the system.
statpd Physical Disk performance table.
statpd_nl7 Restricts statpd to only the NL 7.2K RPM PDs.
statpd_fc10 Restricts statpd to only the FC 10K RPM PDs.
