Add the volume association parameters for the Data Exchange volumes to the file.

• Put at least one space between each parameter, and press Return at the end of each line to

separate the parameter sets. All three parameters (device name, volser, LVI type) are case-
sensitive. If you add comments to the file, make sure that each comment line starts with #.
Make sure to enter end on the last line of the file.

3.

When you are done adding the volume association parameters for each Data Exchange volume
to the volume definition file, save your changes and exit the text editor.
