The Ping page is used to send ICMP echo request packets to another node
on the network to determine if it can be reached.

P ARAMETERS
These parameters are displayed on the Ping page:
◆ IP Address – IPv4 or IPv6 address of the host.
An IPv4 address consists of 4 numbers, 0 to 255, separated by periods.
An IPv6 address consists of 8 colon-separated 16-bit hexadecimal
values. One double colon may be used in the address to indicate the
appropriate number of zeros required to fill the undefined fields.
◆ Ping Length – The payload size of the ICMP packet.
(Range: 2- 1452 bytes)
◆ Ping Count – The number of ICMP packet to send. (Range: 1-60)
◆ Ping Interval – The interval at which to send ICMP packets.
(Range: 0-30 seconds)

To ping another device on the network:
1.
Click Diagnostics, Ping or Ping6.
2.
Enter the IP address of the target device.
3.
Specify the packet size, count, and interval.
4.
Click Start.
