11 Keeping a journal
The journal allows you to keep a record of your work in a series of pictures and captions
as your science investigation progresses.
These steps outline the process of keeping a journal. See the following tasks for detailed
instructions.
1. Take a snapshot.
An image of the SPARKlab page is recorded.
2. Optionally, add a caption to the snapshot.
3. Repeat the previous steps at anytime during your science investigation.
4. Save, export, or print the journal.
Taking a snapshot
At any time during your science investigation, complete these steps to save an image of
the SPARKlab page.
1. Click the Snapshot button.
The SPARK records an image of the SPARKlab page and the thumbnail is dis-
played with other snapshots.
2. Click on a thumbnail to view the snapshot.
3. Click the close button.
