(cr) is the terminating character, carriage return (0Dh).

The command requests the ADAM-5017H / 5017UH
module in slot 3 of the ADAM-5000 system at address
35h to return the input values of all channels.
The analog input module responds with the input values
of all channels, in sequence from 0 to 7: +6.000, +7.000,
+8.125, +4.250, +10.000, +8.500, +7.675, +5.445.
