9. GUARD ASSEMBLY - (CONT.)

L. Reinstall the Wheel Hub Assembly that was removed during step #C above. Leave the inner bolt out
until after the seals are put into place.
M. Slide the Inner Bottom Drive Shaft Seal (GC11986) halves over the studs welded to the Top Chain
Guard.
N. Slide the Outer Bottom Drive Shaft Seal (GC11985) halves over the studs welded to the Top Chain
Guard and on top of the Inner Bottom Drive Shaft Seal halves.
O. Lock the Bottom Drive Shaft Seals into position using 3/8" flat washers and 3/8"-16 hex nuts.
Install the Inner
Drive Shaft Seal
(Large Hole) First
Install the Outer
Drive Shaft Seal
(Smaller Hole)
on Top of the
Inner Seal
Lock into
position with
3/8" washers
and 3/8"-16
hex nuts
Reinstall wheel
hub assembly
