6. DRIVE AXLE ASSEMBLY & BEARING SUPPORT (CONT.)

D. Rotate the pillow block bearings until the bases
are facing up. (See Fig 6-C)
E. Bolt the bearing support brackets to the legs of
the tractor drive stand using ½" x 1 ¾" bolts,
½" lock washers, ½" bevel washers, and ½"
hex nuts. (See Fig. 6-E)
F. Attach pillow block bearings to the bearing
brackets using 5/8" x 2 ½" bolts, 5/8" lock and
flat washers, and 5/8" hex nuts. (See Fig 6-F)
G. Tighten set screws on pillow block bearings.
H. Tighten all hardware.
