C.Fn-8 Assign SET button
You can assign a frequently-used function to < 0 >. When the camera
is ready to shoot, pressing the < 0 > button will display the respective
function setting screen.
0: Quick Control screen
The Quick Control screen ( = 57) will appear.
1: Image quality
The image quality setting screen will appear.
2: Flash exposure comp.
The flash exposure compensation setting screen will appear.
3: Screen On/Off
You can turn on or off the LCD monitor.

You can set the exposure compensation by turning the < 6 > dial
while holding down < 0 >. Useful when you want to set exposure
compensation in <

> manual exposure with ISO Auto set.
6: Flash function settings
The built-in flash or external flash function setting screen will appear.
7: Depth-of-field preview
The lens will stop down to the set aperture, and you can see the range
of acceptable focus (depth of field) in the viewfinder or in the Live View
image.
