Set the daylight saving time.
z Set it as necessary.
z Press the < Y > < Z > keys to select
[
Y
] .
z Press < 0 > so < r > is displayed.
z Press the < W > < X > keys to select [
Z
] ,
then press < 0 >.
z When the daylight saving time is set to
[
Z
] , the time set in step 4 will advance
by 1 hour. If [
Y
] is set, the daylight
saving time will be canceled and the
time will go back by 1 hour.

Exit the setting.
z Press the < Y > < Z > keys to select
[OK] , then press < 0 >.
B The date/time/zone and daylight saving
time will be set and the menu will
reappear.
z The date/time/zone settings may be reset in the following cases. If this
happens, set the date/time/zone again.
- When the camera is stored without the battery.
- When the camera’s battery becomes exhausted.
- When the camera is exposed to below freezing temperatures for a
prolonged period.
z The set time and date will start from when you select [OK] in step 6.
z Even if [ 5 : Auto power off] is set to [4 min.] or less, the auto power off
time will be approx. 6 min. when the [ 5 : Date/Time/Zone] setting screen is
displayed.
z After changing the time zone or time difference setting, check that the correct
date and time are set.
