Setting the Input Signal (input)

PD6210:

Enter the Input menu to set up the controller to display current

(mA) or voltage (volt) inputs.
The current input is capable of accepting any signal from 0 to 20 mA.
Select current input to accept 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA signals.
The voltage input is capable of accepting any signal from -10 to +10 VDC.
Select voltage input to accept 0-5, 1-5, 0-10, or

10 VDC signals.

PD6310:

There are two switches, located to the right of the input con-

nector, which must be configured according to the input level and type.
Jumper J4 located inside the controller, behind the input signal connec-
tor, is used to select the excitation voltage (24 V*, 10 V or 5 V) which is
supplied to the P+ and P- wiring terminals.
The controller may be calibrated using the K-Factor function. Most flow-
meter manufacturers provide this information with the device. Enter the
K-Factor

(Factor) menu and select the decimal point with highest reso-

lution possible and program the K-factor value (i.e. pulses/gal). The con-
troller will automatically calculate the flow rate using the K-factor and the
time base selected.
*Default setting

Setting the Totalizer and Batching Features (total)

After the input type is entered, set the total parameter to “Yes” to ena-
ble batch control (this is set by default). If the total features are dis-
abled, all the batching features and functions are hidden from the me-
nus.

Setting the Decimal Point (dEc pt)

The decimal point may be set with up to five decimal places or with no
decimal point at all. The rate, total, and grand total decimal points are
independent.
Pressing the Right arrow moves the decimal point one place to the right
until no decimal point is displayed then it moves to the leftmost position.
