TNC model, software and features
This manual describes functions and features provided by TNCs as of
the following NC software numbers.
The suffix E indicates the export version of the TNC. The export
version of the TNC has the following limitations:

Linear movement is possible in no more than 4 axes simultaneously.
The machine tool builder adapts the useable features of the TNC to his
machine by setting machine parameters. Some of the functions
described in this manual may not be among the features provided by
your machine tool.
Some TNC functions have to be implemented by the machine tool
builder and are therefore not universally available on all machines.
These functions include:
n Probing function for the 3-D touch probe
n Tool measurement with the TT 130
n Rigid tapping
n Returning to the contour after an interruption
