To assign the targets displayed in the list field to a HardBoot, use the

UP

ARROW

and/or

DOWN ARROW

keys or the mouse to move to the desired

entry and press the

F5

key. An additional menu opens.

In the second line of the header, you will find the physical ID in the left column
(as described above) and the logical name of the selected target in the right-
hand column.

The third line displays the non-editable physical name of the CATCenter in the
left column and the editable logical name in the right column (see

Chapter

5.8.8

).


All yellow entries in the list field are only editable when a HardBoot has been
recognized on the CATCenter.

In the column "HardBoot", you define to which HardBoot the selected target is
connected. The following selections are available:

 None No HardBoot is connected

 1 – 16 Numbering of the available HardBoots Up to 16 HardBoot

CCX can be cascaded; each one is assigned an address via a
DIP switch.


In the column "PORT", you define on which CPU-Port the selected target is
connected to the HardBoot. The following selections are available:

 None No HardBoot is connected

 1 – 8 CPU port numbering on the HardBoot. Therefore, the first

CPU port on the HardBoot is number 1, the second number 2,
etc.


To save the settings, exit the menu with

F2

. Use the

ESC

key to discard the

changes you have made. In both cases, you return to the POWER
MANAGEMENT
submenu.
