5.8.9 Expanding the System with New Functions
The CATCenter system can be adapted using functions, which are available at
an additional charge. Currently, three components are available to you:
 PUSH/GET Function: Function component for 1 CATCenter
cluster to push your own or to get
other screen contents
 TradeSwitching Function: Function component for 1 CATCenter
cluster to operate several
UCON (screens / targets) with only 1
keyboard and mouse.
 IP Switching: Function component for client-side
integration of the IP operation of a
CATCenter X8 system (a system can
consist of one or more clusters). This
function includes the TradeSwitching
function.

If you have purchased one of these three functions then a 12-digit
alphanumeric activation code was provided to you with the function. To enter
the activation code, use the
TAB key to move to the "Enter new key" line and
enter the code there. Once the activation code has been entered correctly, the
function you have purchased is activated in the system and a corresponding
entry appears in the list box of the Feature Management submenu.
