The following table identifies each menu branch available from the SELECT: (Main) menu, its
content section in this chapter, and the functional description of each branch:
Menu Branch Sect Description
Config 5.3.1 Use this menu branch to fully configure the CPA.
Monitor 5.3.2
This menu branch provides read-only displays reflecting the operational and alarm status
of the CPA’s power supplies, internal temperature, RF output power level, and RF FETs;
allows you to read or clear stored fault logs.
Utility 5.3.3 Used this menu branch to adjust operational parameters such as the system time and
date, serial communications, LCD brightness and contrast, etc.
FrontPanel 5.3.4 Used this menu branch to adjust front panel display brightness and run the LED (lamp)
test.
Use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select from the choices shown, and then press ENTER.
5.3.1 SELECT: Config (Configuration)
CONFIG: Remote Amp
FltRec Redundancy ExtRef
Use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select Remote, Amp, FltRec, Redundancy, or ExtRef, and then press
ENTER to continue.
5.3.1.1 CONFIG: Remote (Remote Control)
Remote: Entry Mode
Serial Ethernet (◄ ► E)
Use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select Entry Mode, Serial, or Ethernet, and then press ENTER.
CONFIG: Remote  Entry Mode
Remote: Local Serial
Ethernet (◄ ► E)
Use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select Local, Serial, or Ethernet, and then press ENTER.
If Local is selected, then remote control is disabled, although remote monitoring is still possible.
