Printer adjustment
Entry of password for authorised access
A = NEXT, NEXT, FEED, ON/OFF
B = FEED, ON/OFF, NEXT, FEED, FEED
Corresponds to authorised access, no entry required
Check of entered password
Access time An entered password - A or B - is active until reset or re connection of printer
Access level adjustment - COD0, COD1, COD2 is of resident effectiveness until the
next alteration
Value of print head resistor _______________________________________ HRES
In order to optimise the print quality the value of the head resistor (noted at print head -
11,4 dot/mm print head = 1000 - 1500 Ohm) has to be keyed in when exchanging the print
head.
CAUTION! - The machine is connected to mains. Only authorised personnel
may open the cover. Operation without this cover is not allowed.
This adjustment is not affected when performing the factory setting. Take readings of value and
key in accordingly
„XXXX“
Possible value is between „1000“ and „1500“
Lowering the head temperature _____________________________________HEAT
Printing full-surface print images inordinately heats up the print head, and therefore also the
thermal transfer ribbon. In order to ensure a uniformly good print image, the parameter HEAT is
used to decrease the power supply proportionately to the temperature of the print head.
xxHR
Value range: 00 to 50; unit interval: 10; default: 00
xx = 00 No temperature reduction
xx = 10, 20, ..., 80 up to 10, 20, ..., 80 percent temperature reduction if the print
head is hot
Offset for head voltage ___________________________________________ HVOF
Here an offset value can be added to the value transmitted by the printer (#HV or #!H) to allow
for different printer properties.
Xxxx
Values from -50 to +50 are possible (display -50 ... 0 ... 50)
Progression Unit interval = 1
