delete files, highlight them as for uploading and then click on the Delete button at the left of the window.
The following confirmatory message will appear to make sure that you do not inadvertently delete files that
you wish to retain.
Click the Yes button to delete the file or the No button to return to the Directory display.
6.5 DETERMINING AVAILABLE FILE MEMORY
The 9600 has a very large data capacity – approximately 3 MB – and it is therefore unlikely that you will ever
be limited in your ability to set up deployments by this factor. For example, a 30 day study at a 1 hour
sample interval will generate a file which is approximately 0.02 MB making it possible to carry out
approximately 150 of these studies without deleting any files from 9600 memory. YSI does recommend,
however, that you periodically upload files to your PC in either or both YSI and CSV format, archive them on
your PC and then delete the files from the memory of the 9600. The amount of available memory is shown at
the top of the file directory screen as shown below.

Note that users can also sort files with the directory by name, size or date/time by clicking on the header
buttons.
