• Select the “9600 Nitrate Monitor – SDI-12” option in the Select Sensor pop-up window. This will load
the default settings for the nitrate monitor.
• After the default settings for the nitrate monitor have been loaded, the following dialog box allows the
user to change the default COM port, sensor name, and SDI-12 address. Select OK after making the
necessary changes.
• Click on the 6200 selection in the top menu bar and then the 6200 DCP Setup|System selection as
shown below.
• Make the following entries into the following dialog box:
• A site description
• A Sample Interval for the 6200 that defines the rate at which the 6200 will query the 9600 for a
data point.
Note: ensure that the Auto-Calculate Sample Duration box is checked. The nitrate monitor will
automatically determine the appropriate sample duration.
