(6) Memory back-up
Even when the power supply is turned off, settings of all the parameters are not lost until the next time you turn
it on. This is made possible by a back-up battery installed in the unit.
When the battery voltage drops, the following message is displayed (for approximately 2 seconds) when the
power supply is turned on.
IPGMil
6
~band PEQ
ICH
LOW BAT.
If you do not replace the battery at this time, all the parameter settings and the data stored in memory might be
lost.
When the message is displayed, contact the person in the shop from which you purchased the product or the
nearest Yamaha service center and replace the battery immediately.
(7) Maintenance
• Do not use benzine or thinner to clean the exterior of the unit.
• It is recommendable to clean the terminal section at regular intervals with a commercially available contact
point cleaner. Dirt on the terminal section may cause contact failures.
