4. RS-485 network between the unit and DEQ5(E)
(1) What is possible with RS-485
Remote controlling other DEQ5(E)
It is possible for the DEQ5 to operate parameter edit on another DEQ5 or DEQ5E. Operating DEQ5 transmits
parameter change command (when UTILITY “RS-485 COMM. I/O” menu is set to “ALL”) and changes
parameters of other DEQ5(E)s (except for power supply ON/OFF and control for setting analog level, etc.)
simultaneously.
Memory Store/Recall
It is possible to operate memory store/recall on DEQ5(E) which has the same communication settings as the unit
by remote controll.
If you operate Store/Recall with the unit, memory store/recall of the other equipment also works in the same way.
However, if memory protect is activated on the receiving equipment, the store function does not work. (Memory
recall, however, is possible.)
Transmission of various data inside the unit
The menu for data transmission is displayed by recalling “BULK DUMP” of the Utility menu.
