Indicator section
Indicators
The indicators show the system set-up conditions of the current DEQ5.
• INPUT .......................................... Type of digital audio signal input port.
Both LEDs go out during analog sound input.
• Fs ...................................................Displays the current operation sampling frequency.
If all the indicators are off, word clock might not be working properly. Please
check to see if the connections are properly made.
• EMPHASIS ..................................Displays whether or not the emphasis process has been carried out. It lights up
when the emphasis process is assigned.
• PROTECT ................................. . Displays the setting conditions of “PROTECT” switch on the rear panel.
When the memory protect is activated, “MEMORY” LED lights up and when
the key protect is activated, “KEY” LED lights up.
Meter section
® IN level meter
Displays the input signal level in the digital range after A/D conversion.
® OUT level meter
Displays the output signal level in the digital range after D/A conversion.
Analog level control section
INPUT level control
This control is used to adjust the input level during analog audio input. The nominal level is indicated by “0”.
OUTPUT level control
This control is used to adjust the level of the output to the analog output terminal. The nominal level is indicated
by “0”.
