Register or change the status of mobile devices
In the Register Notification Devices page, you can do these things for each mobile device:
• Register devices in designated units. Each device can be registered with only one
unit. No matter where a device is used, the patient list shows only patients in the
registered unit.
• Change the status of a device, as follows:
Disabled: for lost or stolen devices. The device does not reappear in the list if it is
subsequently detected on the WACS network.
Deleted: for device repair or replacement. The device reappears in the list as
unregistered if it is subsequently detected on the WACS network.
Unit change: to register the device with a different unit
To navigate to the Register Notification Devices page
1. Along the top of any WACS page, click Home. Click WACS Administrator, and then
click the Clinician Notifier Manager tab.
The Clinician Notifier Manager Overview page appears.
2. Along the left side of the page, click Register Notification Devices.
The Register Notification Devices page appears.
