Deactivate or delete one or more WACS accounts
Certain WACS administrators can deactivate or delete specific types of WACS accounts.
•
Designated WACS biomedical engineers can deactivate or delete administrative user
accounts.
•
Designated WACS clinical administrators can deactivate or delete clinical user
accounts.
If an account has been deactivated or deleted, the following must occur for the user to re-
access the WACS system:
•
Deactivated accounts must be reactivated by a WACS administrator.
•
Deleted accounts cannot be restored. A WACS administrator must add a new account
for the user.
To deactivate or delete a WACS account
1.
Along the top of any WACS page, click Home. Click WACS Administrator and then
the User Manager tab. The User Overview page appears.

Click the Select unit pull-down menu, and then select the unit in which you are
interested.

Check boxes next to users whom you want to deactivate or delete.
4.
Deactivate or delete the account(s):

To deactivate the account(s): Click
.
Deactivated accounts can be reactivated.
•
To delete the account(s): Click
.
Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
5.
In the popup window, click OK.
Your action is confirmed. The new account status(es) appear.
