HL7 - OBX settings
Specify whether OBX sub-IDs are present in OBX segments
In the HL7 - OBX page, you can specify whether HL7 messages include
OBX sub-IDs in OBX segments.
To turn on or off the OBX sub-ID setting
1. Along the top of any WACS page, click Home. Click WACS Administrator. Click the
HL7 Manager tab.
The HL7 Manager page appears.
2. Along the left side of the page, click OBX Segment.
The HL7 - OBX Settings page appears.
3. In the New Value column, check or clear the box in the Observation Sub-Id row.
If you want to discard the changes, click Reset.
4. Click Save Changes.
5. Reboot WACS. (For reboot instructions, see “Log out of the WACS program or reboot
WACS” on page 67.)
