Authorize or deny a forgotten password request
Certain WACS administrators can authorize or deny forgotten password requests for
specific types of users.
• Designated WACS biomedical engineers can authorize or deny forgotten password
requests for administrative users.
• Designated WACS clinical administrators can authorize or deny forgotten password
requests for clinical users.
To authorize or deny a password change request
1. Along the top of any WACS page, click Home. Click WACS Administrator, and then
click the User Manager tab. The User Overview page appears.
2. Click the Select Unit pull-down menu, and then select the unit in which you are
interested.
* represents “All units.”
3. Visually scan the Status column for Forgotten Password status.
4. Check the box next to the user for whom you are processing the request.
5. Click .
6. In the popup window, make a selection:
• Click Accept to authorize the request.
• Click Deny to deny the request and retain the current password.
• Click Cancel to take no action.
The request remains pending.
