Set up your WACS account
To set up your WACS account
1.
Fill in the top seven fields with the appropriate information.
User names must be 4-16 alphanumeric characters, with no blanks or special
characters.
Passwords must be 6-16 alphanumeric characters (at least three alphabetic and one
numeric), with no blanks or special characters. Passwords are case-sensitive.
2.
In the comments field, type a list, in this format:
Unit: WACS role that you are requesting
The following table illustrates available WACS roles and associated WACS privileges.
For each unit, you can request one or more roles.

Click Submit.
A WACS administrator must activate your account for it to become functional.

Utilize the CIS ADT data transfer functions in the HL7 Manager pages.
Note: This role is only available to Welch Allyn personnel. If you require ADT data

Biomedical engineer
•
Add and delete administrator accounts.
•
Add and remove administrator roles.
•
Activate and deactivate administrator accounts and edit administrator account
information.
•
Process forgotten password requests from administrator and clinical users.
•
Utilize the HL7 Manager pages.
•
Utilize the Upgrade Manager pages.
•
Utilize the Reboot Manager pages.
Clinical administrator
•
Add and delete clinical accounts.
•
Add and remove clinical roles.
•
Activate and deactivate and clinical accounts and edit clinical account
information.
•
Approve forgotten password requests from clinical users.
Nurse manager
•
Register mobile devices that use the Clinician Notifier program and associate
clinicians with the devices.
•
View, lock, unlock and delete Acuity System patients’ historical printout reports.
