Using AF to Focus
Focus the subject.
• Aim the AF point over the subject and
press the shutter button haifway.
► When focus is achieved, the AF point
wiil turn green and the beeper wiil
sound.
► if focus is not achieved, the AF point
wili turn orange.
Take the picture.
• Check the focus and exposure, then
press the shutter button compietely to
take the picture (p.127).

(Face detection) Live iMode:
AF x
With the same AF method as the Live mode, human faces are detected
and focused. Have the target person face the camera.
Point the camera toward the
subject.
• When a face is detected, a < [ ] >
frame wiil appear over the face to be
focused.
• if muitiple faces are detected, << >>
wili be dispiayed. Use <*> to move
the << >> frame over the target face.
