Function

The PFI are evaluated during PS processing through the following program functions:
Wait for input",
Branch 1" and
Branch 2".

The PFI can be linked to any number of digital signal sources (e.g. the digital input terminals
(DIGIN), fieldbus control signals (AIF−IN) or system bus control signals (CAN−IN) (function block
interconnection).
Tip!
The function block POS−PFI is part of POS. Therefore it is not necessary to explicitly transfer it to the
processing.
