Electrostatic discharge
Electronic components in the communication module can be damaged or destroyed by
electrostatic discharge.
Possible consequences:
• The communication module is defective.
• Fieldbus communication is faulty or not possible.
Protective measures:
Before touching the module, make sure that you are free of electrostatic charge.
