4. Instrument Setup
4.2 Installation site requirements
The installation site has to fulfill the following
conditions:
• Stable and plane installation surface.
• Minimum installation surface dimensions:
850 x 850 mm,
• Room temperature consistently between +5 °C
and +40 °C,
• Relative humidity should not exceed 80%.
Necessary conditions for electrical connection
- Grounded wall outlet near enough so it can
be reached with the power cable supplied
together with the instrument.

Because of the quantity of solvents
used for processing specimens and the
solvent concentrations that build up,
we recommend installing instrument
versions without a fume control system
or active carbon filter in the labora-
tory's fume hood.
The instrument may not be operated in
hazardous locations.
If you wish to install the basket holder
for a second tissue basket, you should
do that now.
