tRoublEShooting
A Fault status is indicated by a yellow LED and also by
the 4-20 mA outout. Refer to Table 6 to identify the fault
type using the 4-20 mA output. (The operator must know
which fault signaling mode has been programmed.)
Refer to Table 7 for assistance in correcting malfunctions
with the PointWatch Eclipse Detector.
dEvicE REpaiR and REtuRn
The Pointwatch Eclipse IR Hydrocarbon Gas Detector is
not designed to be repaired in the field. If a problem
should develop, first carefully check for proper wiring,
programming and calibration. If it is determined that the
problem is caused by an electronics failure, the device
must be returned to the factory for repair.
Prior to returning devices or components, contact the
nearest local Detector Electronics office so that a Service
Order number can be assigned. A written statement
describing the malfunction must accompany the returned
device or component to expedite finding the cause of the
failure.
Return all equipment transportation prepaid to the factory
in Minneapolis.
