Google Apps Migration for Lotus Notes Installation & Administration Guide

I migrated a user’s mail to a test account, and now I want to migrate it to his real account.
What do I need to do?

1. Change the user’s Gmail user name in his migration profile. See “Register Single

Database” on page 52.

2. Use the Migrate Again button to reset all of the mail in that user’s mail file. See “Resubmit

Data to Google Apps” on page 72.

I have a user whose status seems to be stuck in Active.

1. Open the mail database for that user.

2. Expand Views > Migration Status, then check the Calendar, Contacts, and Mail views to

see whether the migration has encountered an error, or if it is just proceeding more slowly
than you expect.

I encounter the following error when authorizing GAMLN for my domain:

Msxml3.dll: Access is denied error when authorizing GAMLN for your domain.

If you encounter this error, please uninstall GAMLN and download and install the latest version
(3.1.4 or greater).

Uninstall GAMLN with the steps described in “Uninstalling the Migration System” on page 57.

Download the latest version of GAMLN from the following URL:

http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=154630

I am seeing a “Site document cannot be found” error.

This can occur because of a deleted site document, or because you have reinstalled or tried to
upgrade GAMLN on the same server. If this is the case, you should uninstall GAMLN and re-
install it on the server. See “Uninstalling the Migration System” on page 57 for more
information.

I have an issue registering a specific user (Unable to locate Persons document in Domino
directory).

First, check to see whether you are able to register other users.

If you can’t register any users, you might not have the Domino directory filename correct in the
System setup profile. Alternatively, you may have created the GAMLN admin database on the
client instead of the server.

If you can register other users but not this specific one, add the Database title as an additional
entry to the User name field on this user's Person document. Afterwards, refresh the views in
the Domino directory. You can do this by entering "Load updall names.nsf" into the server
console on the migration server.
