*Use in salt water or other severe operating conditions requires shorter maintenance/service intervals

**May not be on your boat

Routne nspecton, servce and mantenance of your

boat’s systems are vtal to assure your safety, as well as

for prolongng the lfe of your boat. you should develop

regular routnes for nspectng your boat. The chart

below summarzes nspecton, servce and mantenance

actvtes. Ths secton also contans descrptons of some

convenent methods for evaluatng the condton of some

of your boat’s systems.

The nterval between necessary servce or mantenance

s hghly varable, dependng on the envronment your

boat s n, and on the severty of operatng condtons.

For example, corroson of parts on boats operated n

salt water proceeds much faster than the corroson of

parts on a boat operated n fresh water. The ntervals

lsted below are recommended maxmums, and you must

reduce the tme between nspectons f your observatons

ndcate the need.
